Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reveal the effect of video clips in the enhanced book environment in developing the depth of knowledge among educational technology students. To achieve the research goal, the researcher followed the descriptive approach in the stage of studying the research variables through description and analysis. The researcher also followed the experimental method in studying the effect of the independent variable, video clips in the enhanced book environment, on the dependent variable, depth of knowledge. The research sample included 26 students from the fourth year of the Education Technology Division at the Faculty of Specific Education at South Valley University. The research tools were applied, which are the depth of knowledge test, and after applying statistical coefficients on the students’ grades in the depth of knowledge test for computer maintenance, the results resulted in statistically significant differences at level 05 for the video clips in the enhanced book environment in developing the depth of knowledge in favor of the post-application.
