International journal for innovation education and research (IJIER) -Open Access gives a worldwide audience larger than that of any subscription-based journal, no matter how prestigious or popular, and probably increases the visibility and impact of published work. International journal for innovation education and research (IJIER) -Open Access gives barrier-free access to research literature. It increases convenience, reaches, and retrieval power. Free online literature is available for software that facilitates full-text searching, indexing, mining, summarizing, translating, querying, linking, recommending, alerting, "mash-ups," and other processing and analysis forms. International journal for innovation education and research (IJIER) -Open Access puts rich and poor on an equal footing for these key resources and eliminates the need for permissions to reproduce and distribute content.

IJIER is ardent to Open Access. We strongly believe that removing barriers to research published online will greatly aid in IJIER Publishing scientific and technical disciplines.

Topics:

International Journal of Education and Learning Research is an international journal and welcomes any research papers on education and learning using techniques from and applications in any technical knowledge domain: original theoretical works, literature reviews, research reports, social issues, psychological issues, curricula, learning environments.

The Journal particularly welcomes papers in the following areas:

  • Papers reporting the findings of empirical studies using experimental or quasi-experimental methods and/or other appropriate methods that focus explicitly on evaluating the effectiveness of a particular educational program or intervention in improving outcomes for learners and/or teachers.

  • Papers reporting the findings of secondary analyses of large datasets and/or meta analyses that consider the effectiveness of particular educational programmes, approaches or types of provision.

  • Papers that report the findings of systematic reviews of educational research either in relation to the effectiveness of a particular type of program or intervention or in relation to what approaches tend to be most effective in improving clearly defined educational outcomes;

  • Methodological papers that either provide critiques of existing approaches to the design and analysis of research into the effectiveness of education and/or seek to develop new and innovative methods. These can include: papers that focus on the validity and reliability of existing or newly developed outcome measures; the efficacy of existing experimental designs and/or the advocacy of alternative or new designs; innovative approaches to the statistical analysis of data; and methodological issues in relation to research synthesis, e.g. the assessment of publication or design bias.

  • Critical and theoretical papers that challenge existing orthodoxies and encourage new ways of thinking about the nature, purpose, politics and/or policy impact of research into the effectiveness of education.

  • Serve the community of arts and humanities educators internationally, by publishing significant opinion and research into contemporary issues of teaching and learning within the domain. These will include enquiries into policy, the curriculum and appropriate forms of assessment, as well as developments in methods such as electronic modes of scholarship and course delivery.

  • Publish articles characterized by profound thought about both the interface between research and teaching in the subject in question and the transformational purposes of a higher education.
